PRIMITIVE LOOMS OF KITA-HATU

All clothing of the Kita-Hatu brand are made of handwoven fabrics, some select pieces use fabric handwoven on the incredibly special primitive looms native to the Kitahatu village.

The "Tribal“ looms of Kitahatu are built by the weavers using local materials. Even the intricate reed through which the warp threads are sleighed, and which determines the density of the weave, is made by hand from hand cut bamboo slivers.
